To Be or Not to Be Sermon Series May 28 – June 18
This series begins with the story of the very beginning of our Church when the Holy Spirit came down and made it possible for the disciples to speak to a diverse audience. As ordinary folk, many of the disciples doubted their credentials to speak on matters of faith. And yet they did speak, and the message resonated, and the movement grew to a church. Encounters with Jesus change people and empower them, not just for a moment, but in a way that affects their whole being.
This 60-minute service features scripture and thematically-inspired liturgy, hymns (both traditional and contemporary), pastoral prayer, and anthems from a variety of choirs, music ensembles, and special guests. The sanctuary’s striking beauty offers a classic setting for dynamic worship. Communion is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Senior Pastor Judy Zabel and Associate Pastor Laura Hannah, with an occasional guest preacher, craft and deliver sermons that inspire, challenge, and equip worshippers to go out into the world and share the love of Christ.
