The Creation Collective at Hennepin was formed at the end of last year’s Hope for Creation class as a way to proceed with climate action. It organizes resources, facilitates planning, and builds capacity and community in support of the congregation’s vocation as a “Cathedral for All Creation.”
In partnership with Dr. Timothy Eberhart, Director of the Center for Ecological Regeneration at Garrett Theological Seminary, the Collective will meets to steward implementation of the church’s mission for regenerative/ecological ministry and is organized around multiple Bee Hives of collaborative action: Buildings & Energy, Land Use, Food & Agriculture, Worship & Spirituality, Christian Education & Formation, and Political Advocacy, Organizing, & Outreach.
The entire congregation is invited to join in on discussions, workshops, brainstorming, progress updates from the hives, and more.
