Reclaiming Faith, Refounding Democracy: An Evening with Jim Wallis

June 11 @ 7:00pm 9:00pm

You are invited to hear Jim Wallis discuss his new book “The False White Gospel: Reject Christian Nationalism, Reclaiming True Faith, and Refounding Democracy” on Tuesday, June 11 at 7 pm at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, 511 Groveland Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403. After the discussion and Q&A, Jim will be signing copies of his book. If you have already purchased a copy of his book, please feel free to bring it to be signed.

Jim Wallis is the inaugural holder of the Archbishop Desmond Tutu Chair in Faith and Justice at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, and the Director of its new Center on Faith and Justice. He is the author of multiple New York Times bestselling books and the founder of Sojourners. In his new book, he argues that the answer to bad religion is true faith that will help refound democracy.

This event is free to all and hybrid–come in-person or tune in on livestream! To attend via livestream, register using the button above and we will send you a link to join the discussion.
