“Close to Home”
What comes to mind when we hear the word, Home?
Does it conjure warm memories or perhaps painful ones?
Is it where we find ourselves now or where we yearn to be?
Did we leave home with blessing or in a huff?
Soul Café is gathering poetry and music about Home for performance and reflection on April 28.
Our return to the Art Gallery at Hennepin Church last Fall was a homecoming after the pandemic hiatus.
Perhaps many of us are still trying to find our way “home” after that disruption and all that have followed.
But might it be possible, as our theme suggests, that the home we seek is not that far away?
Join us on April 28 and we will hold that question together.
