We welcome festival goers to our parking lot and offer hospitality and allyship at our Service and Justice Pride Tent. \n\n\n\nProceeds for this parking lot fundraiser are used to defer the costs of mission trips for our youth. This year\, that group includes 25 teens and adults that will spend time in Chicago working in community gardens\, helping re-distribute medical supplies to low income local clinics\, and volunteering in a shelter for young people who have experienced human trafficking. \n\n\n\nWe are looking for Hennepin folks who are eager to meet and joyfully interact with the queer community in our parking lot during Pride weekend! Volunteer positions include Parking Lot Attendant\, Pride Merch Table Host\, and Party Cart Host.  \n\n\n\n\nVolunteer to help during Pride Weekend!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us at Chalking for Pride on Friday\, June 26 from 3-7pm on Hennepin’s north steps! Children lead in worship\, we sing varieties of hymns meant to engage hearts and imaginations\, and our cathedral sanctuary bears witness to an enduring desire to praise God in all ways. In the United Methodist Church\, communion is open to all and is shared on the first Sunday of the month. Worship is enriched by a variety of voices\, including our pastors\, Rev. Elizabeth Macaulay and Rev. Christy Key\, along with guest preachers and members of the community.
