SUMMARY:Community Meals
DESCRIPTION:Community Meals is Hennepin Avenue UMC’s hospitality and feeding ministry. For over 30 years\, we’ve been part of a downtown church consortium committed to providing a hot meal on Sunday evenings to low-income and homeless people. Hennepin participates in hosting the Community Meals program on the 1st and 5th Sundays of the month. We share this hospitality with a rotating group of congregations. 10-15 volunteers welcome 50-70 guests to a delicious dinner.
