In the United Methodist Church\, communion is open to all and is shared on the first Sunday of the month. Worship is enriched by a variety of voices\, including our pastors\, Rev. Elizabeth Macaulay and Pastor Laura Hannah\, along with guest preachers and members of the community.

DESCRIPTION:Sundays 11:15-12:30 in the Church of Youth \n\n\n\nConfirmation is a vital ministry where youth are supported throughout their spiritual  \n\n\n\njourney. The program encourages students to connect with God\, the Bible\, the Church\, and caring adults.  Participants may join a confirmation class anytime between their 8th grade year and their senior year of high school.  \n\n\n\nStudent learning will center around classroom time\, hands-on service activities\, field trips\, and yearly summer mission trips. Students are expected to attend regularly\, participate in worship\, complete service hours and meet with mentors. At the rally\, we will gather legislators and housing advocates together to “start with home” and prioritize legislation that: \n\n\n\n\nSaves and creates more homes \n\n\n\nExpands access and opportunity \n\n\n\nSecures predictable housing investments \n\n\n\n\nLet’s pack the Capitol Rotunda again and make sure this session “Starts With Home!”  \n\n\n\nPlease fill out this form if you plan to attend or are interested in attending and if you would like to carpool. Registering will make it easier for us to gather as a group at the rally.  \n\n\n\nPlease consider attending this rally to learn more about the need for affordable housing and how to contact your legislators. DESCRIPTION:Ann Carlson will be leading a Lenten discussion class that begins on Wednesday evenings starting on February 25. Join the six-week class to learn how the Christian-crafted Doctrine of Discovery shaped the development of the United States\, promoting the theft of indigenous lands\, the destruction of Indigenous cultures\, and killing of people. \n\n\n\nLearn how writing a land acknowledgement can help begin the process of repairing relationships with indigenous people through a process of decolonization. While it’s not required\, participants interested in joining are strongly encouraged to attend the first discussion session and continue attending each week throughout the six-week class. The discussions taking place through this series are designed to build on one another\, so joining partway through is not recommended. \n\n\n\nWe are politely asking for your registration for this class! The zoom link will be sent to registrants a few days prior to February 26. \n\n\n\n\n\nMinnesota Reconciling Congregations invites you and members of your congregation to join us for our upcoming Winter Virtual Learning Event entitled  “Gender Liberation is For Everyone: A Path Toward Stronger Allyship with LGBTQ+ Congregants.”  This virtual event will take place on Thursday\, February 26 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. with Neak Loucks & Charlie Curtis\, who are members at First UMC of St. Cloud Region. \n\n\n\nJust as Jesus spoke on breaking down barriers between the center and the margins of society\, we will approach discussions of trans experiences (e.g.\, gender dysphoria\, nonbinary gender identity)\, to break down “otherness” that is often a part of even well-meaning perceptions of trans experience.
