We know with your busy schedule that it may not be feasible to participate during the summit. The church has purchased a license so we can view the sessions after the fact. Stay tuned for more information on how to access those sessions and participate in discussion about the sessions.
Parking Lot Fundraiser
We are excited to announce a wonderful opportunity to support Emma Norton Services and their Restoring Waters Campaign, which provides transformational housing and growth for women and families on their journey of recovery. As a community dedicated to making a positive impact, we are thrilled to host a fundraiser benefiting this important cause.
Event Details:
On Mother’s Day weekend, coinciding with the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden Art Fair, we will be opening up our parking lot located at 511 Groveland Avenue, Minneapolis, for paid parking. All proceeds from this initiative will go directly to Emma Norton’s Restoring Waters Campaign.
Why It Matters:
Emma Norton Services is committed to providing crucial support and resources to women and families in need, guiding them on a path toward healing and stability. By participating in this fundraiser, we can contribute to their mission of creating lasting positive change in the lives of those they serve.
How You Can Help:
We are seeking volunteers to assist with various tasks during the fundraiser. Volunteer roles may include directing traffic, providing information about the fundraiser, facilitating payments, and guiding cars to parking spots. Your involvement, whether big or small, will make a meaningful difference in the success of this event.

Family Ministry Insights and Ideas Special Meeting
As we embark on a new season at Hennepin Avenue, we are excited about the opportunities to enrich our community through engaging and meaningful experiences. Your dedication and support have been invaluable, and we would like to invite you to a special meeting to contribute your ideas and insights about the Family Ministry program. Date: May 18th(virtual option is available upon request). Time: 10am Location: in person at Hennepin.
We will discuss potential changes to the job description for the Director of Family Ministry position. Your perspectives on the role and responsibilities will help us ensure that the position aligns with the evolving needs of our community. You will be encouraged to share your experience with the program and share ideas for the program in the future. This collaborative session aims to foster open dialogue, creativity, and community engagement. Your participation is key to the success of the program, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
