Faithful Resistance

In class this past Sunday, we learned about Rev. Abby Mohaupt’s journey as an eco-feminist scholar finishing her doctorate at Drew Theological School, a climate justice activist who has worked at Faith in Place and Greenfaith, and an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) who organized efforts to achieve denominational divestment from fossil fuels. Abby and her 2.5 year old daughter Juniper also facilitated an exercise aimed at provoking reflection around why we often uncritically participate in unjust systems and how we might organize to change them.
