This Sunday, we honor United Women in Faith (UWF) and their dedication to service and justice through UWF Thank Offering Sunday. Over the past year, UWF has actively supported our congregation and community by:
- Supplying Bibles for Hennepin youth.
- Creating Christmas cards for Advent poinsettia deliveries.
- Collecting and delivering a large donation of school supplies to Emerson Dual Language Elementary.
- Donating books on social justice, mission, and spiritual growth to the HAUMC library.
- Preparing 100 sandwiches for guests of The Dignity Center.
- Raising funds and awareness for Emma Norton Services through Sunday outreach and a parking lot fundraiser.
- Awarding $11,000 in grants to 11 nonprofit organizations through the Balch Grant program.
As part of UWF Thank Offering Sunday, your generosity will support vital organizations like The Lift Garage, Wildflyer Coffee, Open Arms of Minnesota, and more—providing critical resources to individuals and families in need.
During worship, we’ll highlight UWF’s impact through a special presentation. If you’d like to learn more, printed copies will be available in Carlson Hall.
