Through March 31
March means MN FoodShare is underway! We’re partnering with the Blaisdell Y again this year, and setting new “pounds goals” for food donations to support Groveland Food Shelf. We’ve set benchmarks for each Hennepin clergy member to jump in the Y’s pool fully dressed: 2,000 lbs. for Pastor Nate, 2,500 lbs. for Pastor Frenchye, and 3,000 for Pastor Judy!
Pick up a grocery bag and shopping list after worship. Bring your bag filled with groceries back to Hennepin Avenue UMC March 3-31.
Be a wellspring of hope for families in need of healthy food–and help our clergy make a big splash to fight hunger!
Join Pastor Frenchye Magee and Rev. Stephanie Escher March 23-24 at Koinonia Retreat Center for the 2019 Spring Women’s Retreat.
This year’s theme, “Women of the Well,” brings the biblical story of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman alongside the work of Mary Oliver, Rachel Held Evans, and other dynamic women as participants explore what it means to be centered, open, receptive, and engaged on the journey to a more authentic relationship with God. Women of all ages will enjoy this relational, interactive weekend designed to help you listen for (and claim) your unique expression of God’s grace in the world!
Two registration options are available. Register today at haumc.org/register.
