What is Reflection? Written by Rodge Adams

Reflection is a Sunday morning gathering after the worship service for discussion of important religious concepts in an intimate, informal setting. Those gathering gain insights by sharing personal experiences and beliefs, and develop a stronger sense of community through their sharing. Both observers and participants are welcome at 11:30 in the Harrison Room.
In support of this concept, we would develop a series of weekly questions specifically focused on exploring personal reactions to various aspects of faith. To illustrate, here are some examples:
To what extent does God communicate with you?
Does God have a plan you individually?
Does God have a plan for humanity?
Is love a primary characteristic of God?
Is justice a primary characteristic of God?
What does it mean to love God?
What does it mean to love one’s neighbor?
Where is God?
How can the Bible help answer ethical question?
I can imagine all of these triggering a lively discussion.
