Are you interested in ensuring the long-term sustainability of Hennepin Avenue UMC? We have two openings on our Governance Board.
If your faith journey is calling you to be a servant leader, you believe in the mission of Hennepin, have leadership experience, and are able to contribute to a collaborative strategic decision-making model, we encourage you to apply.
Governance Board members are those who live their membership vows. We seek leaders who support the church with their prayers, presence, service, gifts, and witness. These roles require attending a monthly Governance Board meeting, as well as meetings for the committee to which you will liaise (one role will be the liaison to the Buildings and Grounds Committee, and one role will be the liaison to the Staff Parish Relations Committee), and a desire to ensure our mission and resources are stewarded effectively.
