On Tuesday, May 28th, prior to rehearsal for the Ordination Worship Service, a group of gracious Hennepin volunteers served dinner to eighty honored persons and their guests. On the following Wednesday evening, our sanctuary was filled with clergy, laity, our bishop and honored guests as we named the power of ordained, commissioned, licensed, and lay ministry.

This kind of event was possible because Lynne Carroll was willing to invite people to serve, greet, tend the parking lot and usher. Our music and worship leaders were crucially important to the strength of the event, and our sanctuary was filled with the power of shared song and prayer.

Thank you to all who made this possible. We are stewards of this great cathedral. It is good to welcome all in our shared ministry connection into this sacred space.

Annual Conference Ordination was a huge success thanks to a not so small army of amazing Hennepin volunteers!
