Convening 2026: Faith In Home w/ Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative
January 20 @ 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Refreshments & Fellowship starting at 6:30pm
Starting with a performance by the StreetSong choir, and featuring other special guests, we’ll build energy for the legislative session and send a powerful message to DC. While we keep up our federal advocacy, we will call on our state legislators to deepen the commitment to making Minnesota the best state in the US for providing affordable homes with supportive services. This movement is growing, powered by you – people united in the vision that all people have a home. It is clear that nationwide, voices like ours are having an impact.
After months of our strong advocacy to defend federal funding for supportive housing, we are still facing massive cuts that will impact real people’s homes. We in Minnesota can lead in a response to this federal retreat through coordinated state and local policy. We are excited to launch this new chapter of our advocacy for 2026 by inviting you and state and county leaders in homelessness and supportive housing to engage in a visionary dialogue of what is possible in Minnesota.
Speakers Include:
- Assistant Commissioner Rinal Ray, Minnesota Housing
- Hennepin County Commissioner Angela Conley, Chair of Hennepin HRA
- Ramsey County Commissioner Mai Chong Xiong, Chair of Ramsey HRA
Join us and bring a friend! All are welcome. Doors open at 6:30pm for refreshments and fellowship.
